I’ve waxed poetic about cookies before, but this time around I wanted to gather a fun roundup of cookie recipes for you in one place. Hence this Cookie Recipe Extravaganza.
While what I’ll call “traditional” cookies made with refined sugar and all-purpose flour are lovely and not to be dismissed, there is a whole world of special diet friendly cookies out there. Instead of thinking of them as “fill-in-the-blank free” (e.g. sugar free, gluten free, etc.), I like to just enjoy them on their own merit. There are some really fun flavors and textures to be had out there.
I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite alternative diet cookies for your perusal. (I like to think of these as something fun to make while you plan the rest of your holiday menu options.)
Check them out, pick something new to try, and enjoy!
Still need some more cookie ideas to be adapted? I like checking out this list from How Sweet Eats as well as this one from All Day I Dream About Food.
