Dinner Party Diaries – Volume 3 Issue 6 – Indian Fusion

For this Indian Fusion Dinner Party, I want to highlight some of my favorite spice blends with a collection of recipes that use several of Satya’s Spice Blends*.  One of elements I love about fusion recipes is that they often blend the familiar with new technique twists and / or flavor profiles.  The recipes below highlight several of their blends.  Give them a try and enjoy!

Sometimes the way to breathe new life into something you’re starting to get a bit tired of is simply to incorporate a different set of spices.  Exploring new spice combinations can be a bit intimidating if you’re making it up on your own, so I find pre-made spice blends to be a perfect way to go.  In addition to livening up your dishes, these blends are gluten free, vegan, low sodium, and dye free.  They offer a great way to customize simple ingredients like vegetables, which make good options for special dietary restriction menus, to suit the rest of your menu.

Satya Blends Used in this Menu:

  • Chaat Party Spice Blend
  • Curry Kamaal Spice Blend
  • Everything Indian Spice Blend
  • Mango Sutra Spice Blend
  • Pizza Masti Spice Blend
  • Tikka Taaza Spice Blend
