Easy and delicious–these Pepperoni Pizza Biscuits use our Dinner Party Diaries Original Baking Mix for a quick appetizer or snack that can be tossed together at the last minute.

Seriously! Swap out your protein and / or cheese to match your menu, just keep the ratios the same and stick with a melty-ish cheese.

Variations on this Recipe

As mentioned, I like to change this up to suit the menu’s flavor profile. You can easily exchange the proteins and / or cheese one for one. You’ll just want to stick with similarly styled cheeses for a 1:1 swap. In other words, a 1:1 swap of shredded mozzarella with a hard cheese like grated parmesan or asiago is not going to give you the desired result. Whereas, exchanging the shredded mozzarella with something like shredded gouda, colby jack, pepper jack, or provolone would be fine. (Note: Using grated hard cheeses with our Baking Mixes is totally viable. However, I’d suggest you look at a recipe like our Parmesan Puffs or Savory Parmesan Waffles to better understand the recipe changes required.

Some easy alternatives include, but are not limited to:

  • Diced Ham & Shredded Cheddar
  • Ground Lamb & Feta
  • Ground Beef & Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
  • Diced Ham & Shredded Gouda
