This Keto Cannoli Dip has been one of my faithful dessert stand-bys for nearly a decade. Completely rich and decadent with its ricotta and cream cheese combo, it makes the perfect grazing dip for a party. It’s a winner every time I make it.

What You Need to Make Keto Cannoli Dip
Equipment
- Medium Mixing Bowl
- Hand Mixer – You could use a Stand Mixer instead.
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Rubber Scraper
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese
- Ricotta Cheese – Grab the Whole Milk variety.
- Allulose
- Vanilla Extract
- Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Chips – I use Lily’s. Also, I like dark chocolate for this recipe, but you can pick another variety if you prefer.
- Dippers of Choice – This is optional per dietary restrictions. I’ve used the following: Regular Graham Crackers or Teddy Grahams (for those with no restrictions), Kinnikinnick S’moreables Graham Style Crackers (gluten-free, allergy-friendly), High Key Vanilla Wafers (gluten-free, low-carb), and my Keto Cinnamon Chips (low-carb), Assorted Berries.
Getting Started with Making Keto Cannoli Dip
I’m hard pressed to think of an easier dessert recipe.
Note on Advanced Preparation
The one note that I’ll give before we start is about advanced prep. You can make this dip in advance. In fact, I am highly supportive of you doing so.
If you make it a day or more in advance, just wait to stir in the chocolate chips until you’re ready to serve. The chocolate chips can bleed after they’ve been in contact with the rest of the dip for an extended period of time. It will still taste great, but you might get some chocolate streaks that appear when it gets stirred.
Combining the Ingredients for Keto Cannoli Dip
We’ll start with blending / beating the softened Cream Cheese and Ricotta together. I use a hand mixer for this one but you could use a stand mixer instead. Once combined, you can add in 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract and beat that in.
I like to save the Allulose for last to add in.* I do a quick stir by hand to get it tamped down a bit by the cheese before I start using the hand mixer on it. You’ll beat it until the mixture is smooth and well-incorporated.
Then you’ll use a rubber scraper or spatula to fold in the Sugar Free Chocolate Chips. Put it in whatever you wish to serve it in and you’re done.
Serving and Dipper Suggestions
Although eating this Keto Cannoli Dip with a spoon is definitely something I do and have done, I serve it with some dippers for my guests.
I find that dessert dippers can actually be quite a challenge to find when you’re working with dietary restrictions, especially multiples. Yes, you can make something from scratch. However, since one of the main points of this dessert is how quick and easy it is to make, I feel that having to make your own dippers from scratch defeats the purpose.
So . . . here are some of my finds and suggestions:
- Regular Graham Crackers or Teddy Grahams (for those with no restrictions)
- Kinnikinnick S’moreables Graham Style Crackers (gluten-free, allergy-friendly) – These cover a good number of restrictions but are not low-carb.
- High Key Vanilla Wafers (gluten-free, low-carb) – These do contain Almond, Milk, and Egg, so they don’t work for those allergies.
- Keto Cinnamon Chips (low-carb) – While this one technically requires an oven, it’s also a quick win. The downside is that these do contain gluten, so while good for low-carb, they don’t cover several other restrictions.
- Assorted Berries – Tasty but not as finger food friendly. For service, guests would put both dip and berries on a plate and use a fork or toothpick to dip the fruit.
*Lori Note / Pro Tip
To be fair, adding the allulose after everything else is combined is a holdover tactic from when I used to make this with Powdered Erythritol. It can create quite the little dust cloud. Now I’m overly cautious and try to minimize clouds of anything I’m baking with. If you’ve never tried to clean your work area after a powdered sugar explosion, consider yourself very lucky. It’s got to be near the tippy top of my top 10 things I despise about baking.
