Casseroles are one of my favorite form factors for parties.  Just keep in mind that many casseroles can double as delicious appetizer bites when you cut them into smaller cubes.  Doing so is one of my favorite kitchen hacks for parties.  I put out a tray of cute little appetizer bites without having spent more than an hour on finicky hand work.

While it’s worth noting that this will not work for all casseroles, I definitely consider those with higher structural integrity (i.e. served with a spatula not a spoon) to be perfect candidates.

This cheesy, protein-packed Chicken Caesar Crustless Quiche is a flavorful blend of eggs, Caesar dressing, savory seasonings, and melty cheeses, loaded with tender chicken and broccoli for a satisfying bite. Perfect as a hearty casserole or cut into fun, bite-sized appetizer squares, it’s easy to make ahead and just as delicious served warm or at room temp—your guests will love it either way!

Equipment

  • Stand Mixer Or Large Mixing Bowl and Hand Mixer
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • 9 x 13 inch Casserole Dish
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray

Notes

  • This can be made in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
    • If making it in advance, allow it to cool completely before covering to put in the refrigerator. This will prevent condensation from forming on the interior of the lid.
  • When serving as appetizer bites, this recipe can either be served at room temperature or hot.
    • Room temperature is easier but both are fine. (I actually prefer room temperature, because I find it easier to appreciate the distinct flavors.)
