Turnips as chips?  Yep!  Combining the natural sweetness of the turnips with the vivid flavors of Satya’s Curry Kamaal Spice Blend of tamarind, ginger, turmeric, garlic, cumin, cinnamon, and more turns them into a simple-to-make snack that you won’t be able to put down.  Baked in the oven, there’s no frying oil or splatter involved either.  I call that a win all-around.

Curry Kamaal Turnip Chips

The flavor balance of sweetness from the turnips with the savory notes of the Curry Kamaal Spice Blend makes these Curry Kamaal Turnip Chips an excellent snack for any occasion–party or otherwise.

Ingredients

  • 6 Turnips Large. Peeled.
  • 4 tablespoons Satya Curry Kamaal Spice Blend
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil Or Avocado Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to Convection Roast at 200°F (225°F if not using a convection setting), line 2 rimmed baking sheets with heavy duty aluminum foil and insert wire racks.
    Whole raw turnips
  • Wash and peel 6 Turnips (large). Use a mandolin to slice them into thin, even slices.

  • Place the turnip slices into a large zip top bag, sprinkle with 4 tablespoons Satya Curry Kamaal Spice Blend and 3 tablespoons Olive Oil.

  • Lay out the seasoned slices in a single layer on the wire racks. Roast for 45 minutes or until crispy. Work in batches as needed.
