What You Need to Make Everything Shrimp Bites on Parmesan Crisps
Equipment
- Strainer – For rinsing and draining the shrimp.
- Rimmed Baking Sheet – For drying and roasting the shrimp.
- Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil – For easier clean up of the rimmed baking sheet. While not strictly necessary, I usually need to reuse my baking sheets immediately and this saves the cleaning time, particularly for any little baked-on bits.
- Paper Towels – For drying the shrimp.
- Gallon-sized Zip Top Bag – For tossing the shrimp with seasonings.
Ingredients
- Large Raw Shrimp – I used the ones labeled as “31-40 shrimp per pound”. They should be peeled and deveined with tails removed.
- Smoked Paprika
- Kosher Salt
- Granulated Garlic Powder
- Everything Bagel Seasoning
- Everything Parmesan Crisps – You want the whole pieces rather than the broken ones so that the cooked shrimp sits on top. I used about 2.5 ounces of crisps.
Making Everything Shrimp Bites on Parmesan Crisps
This recipe is super easy and can really be summarized as: mix spices, coat shrimp, roast shrimp, set on parm crisp, and serve.
Mixing the Spices & Seasoning
Start off by mixing all of the spices–1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika, 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt, 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic, and 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning. To simplify dishes and clean-up, go ahead and just put them straight into the gallon-sized zip top bag. Seal the bag with some air in it and give it a few shakes to get everything well mixed.
Prepping the Shrimp
Next take your thawed shrimp, put them in a strainer, and give them a rinse.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and then paper towels. Lay out the shrimp on the layer of paper towels and pat them dry with another paper towel.
Toss your dried shrimp into the gallon zip top bag with the spices. Seal the bag and toss to coat the shrimp.
Cooking the Shrimp
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Discard the paper towels, and spray the aluminum foil lined baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Lay out the shrimp on the sprayed foil-lined baking sheet. Roast at 350°F for 10 – 15 minutes or until the shrimp have started to curl and turn a whitish pink.
Serving the Everything Shrimp Bites on Parmesan Crisps
As soon as the shrimp are cool enough to handle, place one shrimp on top of one Everything Parmesan Crisp.
Serve the bites at room temperature.
While you can store leftovers in the refrigerator, the crisps will lose their crispiness. If you wanted to make this ahead of time, I would suggest just making the shrimp and storing them in the fridge. Don’t put them on the parmesan crisps until just before serving.

Notes
- Scaling This Recipe
- I assume about 4 shrimp per person plus a couple for taste testing, when served as an appetizer with something else. So for example, I would go up to 1.25 pounds of shrimp for a party of 10. I would also increase all of the spices and seasonings by ¼ to match.
