While I’ve never been a cake person with the exception of Funfetti Cake, I have always been a cake batter person. This Keto Cake Batter Dip is everything that my 5 year old self really wishes she knew about. All the decadence of eating cake batter instead of baking it but in a dip form, which obviously makes it completely acceptable. I’d also toss in the notes that it is sugar free, low carb, and not a vehicle for salmonella and E.coli. So . . . it’s practically health food . . . right?
Anyway . . . this Keto Cake Batter Dip is absolutely delicious and addictive. You’ve got to try it!

What You Need to Make Keto Cake Batter Dip
Equipment
- Stand Mixer – Or Large Mixing Bowl and Hand Mixer
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Rimmed Baking Sheet
- Aluminum Foil
- Rubber Scraper
Ingredients
- Keto Yellow Cake Mix – I use 1 box of Duncan Hines Keto Yellow Cake Mix
- Cream Cheese
- Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- Powdered Allulose – While you could substitute another sweetener like Powdered Erythritol, I prefer the Allulose because it doesn’t re-crystalize upon refrigeration.
- Cake Batter Extract – If you can’t find Cake Batter Extract, use 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract instead.
- Keto Sprinkles – Just a note that these are not coconut free.
Getting Started with Making Keto Cake Batter Dip
This Keto Cake Batter Dip is incredibly easy to make.
Baking the Keto Cake Mix
First we’re going to just give 1 box of Keto Yellow Cake Mix a quick spin in the oven. You’ll want to set the oven to 350°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil. Spread out the cake mix on the sheet pan. Bake it for 3 minutes.
Lori Note: This step really isn’t necessary like it would be for non-keto cake mix. Non-keto cake mix contains regular flour, which when raw can harbor salmonella and e.coli. Nut flours like Almond Flour and Coconut Flour which are used in the keto cake mix are ground from nuts that are generally baked before being processed. However, I think this step adds a nice toasty flavor to the dip. You just need to stick to 3 minutes, though. Almond Flour cooks WAY faster than regular flour.
Mixing the Keto Cake Mix Dip
In a stand mixer, combine 8 ounces of Cream Cheese, ¾ cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, 1.5 cups Powdered Allulose (sifted), and 1 teaspoon of Cake Batter Extract. Beat until the mixture is smooth. Then add in the cake mix and continue beating until it is completely incorporated.
If you don’t have a stand mixer, just use a hand mixer and large mixing bowl. Everything else is the same.
Finally, you’ll use a rubber scraper or spatula to fold in ⅔ cup of Sugar Free Sprinkles.
Transfer the dip to the serving bowl and garnish with some additional sprinkles.
That’s it! You’re done!
In the odd event there is any leftover, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes
- The nutrition calculator that I use does not have a way to enter sugar alcohols and so includes that in the total carb count. In this case, sugar alcohol makes up 444 grams of the total carbs. Divided by 16 servings, that comes to 27.75 grams that gets subtracted from each serving. Then minus the 3 grams of dietary fiber from each serving as well.
