I’m on my easy-to-make dessert train today and you should be too! These Delicious Keto Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Treats make the perfect low effort, terrific result dessert. You can serve them for a party or just have them on hand to snack throughout the week.

What You Need to Make Delicious Keto Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Treats
Equipment
- Microwave Safe Mixing Bowl – This is for melting the peanut butter chips. Alternatively, you can use a saucepan and induction burner or double boiler.
- Plastic Wrap
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Kitchen Scale – Optional, but easiest for measuring 12 ounces of peanut butter chips.
- Rubber Scraper
- 8×8-inch Pan or Baking Dish – This is just acting as a mold, so use any baking pan material you have / prefer (i.e. glass, silicone, aluminum, etc.)
- Parchment Paper
- Nonstick Cooking Spray
- Chef’s Knife – For cutting the squares
Ingredients
- Sugar Free Peanut Butter Chips – I like the Hershey ones. For a different take on this recipe, you could certainly use another flavor of baking chips such as white chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, chocolate, butterscotch, etc. The process would be the same.
- Avocado Oil – You can use another oil like vegetable or canola if you prefer.
- Catalina Crunch Honey Graham Cereal – You can use a different flavor of cereal if you prefer. Personally, I like the Honey Graham flavor for this recipe. You can use a different keto cereal if you prefer. I like the structure, texture, and flavor of Catalina Crunch for this application.
- Keto Mini Marshmallows – I like these miniature ones from Choc Zero. If I’m out of the miniature marshmallows, I take a regular sized one and cut it into sixths with kitchen shears.
Getting Started with Making Delicious Keto Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Mix
These Delicious Keto Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Mix treats are incredibly easy to make. The longest part of the process is allowing them to chill in the fridge. If you don’t have that kind of time, you’ll want to take a look at the Pro Tip below.
Melting the Sugar Free Peanut Butter Chips
We’ll start by placing 12 ounces of Sugar Free Peanut Butter Chips in a microwave-safe mixing bowl with 2.5 tablespoons of Avocado Oil and then covering the bowl with plastic wrap. You’ll microwave them at 50% power until slightly melted. I suggest starting with 30 seconds and then continuing in 10 second increments. You will want to stir VERY thoroughly after each time.
Important Warning: The chips will still look whole until you stir them. If you over microwave them, they’ll burn and you’ll have to start over.
As an alternative melting method, you could melt the chips and oil in a small saucepan on an induction burner or over a double boiler. While you could technically do this in a saucepan on the stovetop, I do not recommend it. It’s really easy to burn the chips that way. While you could try to “recover” burnt chips like you can try to do so with chocolate chips, it often does not go well.

Combining All Ingredients
Once the peanut butter chips are melted, we’ll give them another stir and then fold in 3 cups of Catalina Crunch Honey Graham Cereal and 3 cups of Keto Mini Marshmallows. I recommend using a large rubber scraper for this task. You want to get as even of a coating as possible.

Molding and Chilling the Delicious Keto Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Mix
Next we’re going to grab an 8-inch square dish (or one of equivalent volume), line it with parchment paper, and then spray the parchment paper with nonstick cooking spray. Because this is sticky stuff, we want to give ourselves every advantage for easy removal from the pan.
We’ll pour the mixture into the 8-inch square dish and chill it in the refrigerator until solid (about 2 hours).
Then to serve, we can just pull the whole block out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut it into squares. I stick it on a cutting board and cut it into roughly 36 squares (a 6×6 grid).
Pro Tip
- If you don’t have 2 hours for it to chill, you can make it into a “munch mix” instead.
- Instead of an 8-inch square dish, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the mixture onto it. Allow it to sit until at least slightly hardened.
- You can do this at room temperature, depending on what is “room temperature” in your house. In my house (which is almost always between 65°F and 69°F, this is fine. If your room temp is above ~73°F, I’d try to stick it in the fridge for a few minutes to help it along.
- Once it’s hardened, you can just break it up into small chunks and place it in a serving container. If I’m not serving it right away, I place it in a storage container or zip top bag and stash it in the fridge until I’m ready for it.
